1. Overview of the Guarantee

At FrameStore, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality custom framing at competitive prices. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, if you receive a valid written quote or invoice for an identical custom framing project from a qualifying competitor that is lower than our price, we will match that lower price and refund you 110% of the difference.

2. Eligibility Requirements

2.1 Qualifying Competitor

• The competitor must be a reputable, established retail custom framing company with a permanent business address open to the public in the Greater Los Angeles or Ventura area.
• Online-only retailers, temporary pop-up shops, hobbyists, or individuals operating without a valid business license do not qualify.
• FrameStore reserves the right to determine, in its sole discretion, whether a competitor meets these requirements.
• FrameStore reserves the right to contact the competitor to verify the quote or invoice details, including but not limited to materials, design, and craftsmanship.
• FrameStore may decline a price match request if the competitor fails to verify the quote or invoice details.

2.2 Matching Identical Projects

• The competitor’s written quote or invoice must reflect the exact same materials, design specifications, and craftsmanship as the FrameStore quote. This includes but is not limited to:
  1. The identical frame moulding brand, style, color, and finish.
  2. The exact glazing type and brand (e.g., museum glass, UV-protected glass, acrylic).
  3. Mat board quality, color, and brand.
  4. Mounting methods and hardware including mounting board.
  5. Overall dimensions, layout, and additional design features.
• Any deviation in materials, design, or craftsmanship (for example, substituting a lesser-quality material or brand) will disqualify the competitor’s quote from our Price Match Guarantee.

3. Validity Period

3.1 Timeframe for Quotes

• The competitor’s written quote or invoice must be dated within thirty (30) days of your FrameStore quote or invoice.
• FrameStore’s 110% Price Match Guarantee applies for up to thirty (30) days after the date of your FrameStore quote or invoice.

3.2 Submission Deadline

• You must present the qualifying competitor’s written quote or invoice to FrameStore within thirty (30) days of the date on that competitor’s document.

4. Documentation Requirements

4.1 Written Quote or Invoice

• The quote or invoice from the qualifying competitor must be official, dated, itemized, and include the competitor’s business name and address.
• Verbal or handwritten estimates without a formal letterhead or an itemized breakdown are not acceptable.
• FrameStore reserves the right to verify the authenticity of any quote or invoice.

4.2 Proof of Identical Materials

• It is the customer’s responsibility to provide sufficient details and/or product information (brand, model, SKU, etc.) to demonstrate that the competitor’s quote uses the same exact materials and methods as FrameStore’s.

5. Exclusions

• Quotes from businesses that are unable or unwilling to verify their use of like-for-like materials or craftsmanship are ineligible.
• Discounts resulting from promotions not available to the general public, such as membership clubs, loyalty programs, clearance, going-out-of-business sales, coupons, or special pricing agreements, do not qualify.
• Quotes for services or products that are not custom framing or that incorporate lower-quality or alternative materials do not qualify.
• FrameStore reserves the right to decline a Price Match Guarantee request if the competitor is deemed by FrameStore to be unreliable, unlicensed, or not meeting comparable workmanship standards.

6. Refund Calculation

• If the competitor’s quote is deemed valid, FrameStore will refund 110% of the price difference between the competitor’s quote and FrameStore’s quote for the identical project.
• The refund will be processed once the framing project has been completed and full payment has been made to FrameStore in accordance with our standard payment terms.

7. General Conditions

7.1 Changes to Terms & Conditions

• FrameStore reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this 110% Price Match Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
• Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.

7.2 Fraudulent Activity

• FrameStore may reject any Price Match Guarantee request that appears to be the result of fraud, tampering, or other violations of these Terms and Conditions.
• We reserve the right to request additional documentation or contact the competitor directly to verify the authenticity of the quote or invoice.

7.3 No Disclosure of Proprietary Information

• FrameStore does not disclose supplier or manufacturer information beyond what is necessary for the custom framing project. Requests to identify proprietary vendor or supplier details may not be accommodated.

7.4 Limitation of Liability

• Except as required by law, FrameStore will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from or related to this 110% Price Match Guarantee.
• Your sole remedy under this policy is the price difference refund specified herein.
